GMAA Covid-19 Update: August 10, 2020

The coronavirus pandemic has sickened more than 19,745,900 people, according to official counts. As of Sunday evening, at least 728,500 people have died, and the virus has been detected in nearly every country, as this graph shows.

There have been at least 215,800 confirmed cases of coronavirus in Germany, according to the Robert Koch Institute, the country’s public health institution. As of Sunday evening, 9,196 people had died.

The ongoing pandemic has affected GMAA’s scheduled offline courses and events (conferences, seminars, joint research projects, etc.) for the second half of the year 2020. However, women's health should not be compromised by the outbreak, and our committee and expert teams are working on the online education program amid the crisis.
